First Communion can be received at the age of seven (7), after Baptism and First Reconciliation. 

At St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church, ​children attend 2 years of preparatory classes, beginning in the 1st grade, which prepares them for First Reconciliation and First Holy  Communion.
